MENIFEE, Riverside County — October 25, 2026. Menifee is updating residents on major transportation projects, including the reopening of Freedom Bridge at Bradley Road and continued road and utility work elsewhere in the city. The municipality says the bridge improvement is intended to reduce the flooding-related travel disruptions that previously affected motorists and first responders during rain events.
Freedom Bridge has reopened
The official City of Menifee news page reports that Freedom Bridge at Bradley Road is now open to the public following completion of the project. The city says the crossing addresses historic flooding during rain events and aims to make access more reliable during severe weather. A new or reopened road is not a guarantee that no future storm could cause delays, so residents should heed official weather and closure notices.
Where is construction still underway?
Through its public works construction update, the city reports work by Ferriera Coastal Construction for Southern California Edison on Domenigoni Road and Laguna Vista Drive to Lindenberger Road, with night-time underground utility work and possible changes in traffic patterns through December 2026.
Menifee also says construction of the Craig Avenue–Evans Road traffic signal continues, with completion anticipated by the end of December. Motorists should expect traffic control and temporary delays. The city identifies the Country Glen crack-sealing work between Bradley Road and Holland Road as completed. These statuses are taken from the city update and should be reconfirmed before traveling.
How residents can check their route
The city directs residents to its interactive traffic and construction map for the current project list. For public meetings and community updates, start with the municipal website. The official October calendar also lists a Senior Advisory Committee meeting October 27 and a Planning Commission meeting October 28; consult individual agendas to confirm meeting times and subject matter.
